Prospective Student-Athlete College Counseling
What we do
Prospective Student-Athlete College Counseling (PSACC) advises and mentors prospective student-athletes throughout their college recruiting and selection process. Being recruited can open the door to many opportunities. The recruiting process can also be limiting and stressful, and it is difficult to feel confident knowing how and when to take each step. We are here to help, providing the insight, accountability, and resources so that you can feel confident as you build and explore your options.
Why work with PSACC
Choosing which college to attend is a big decision worthy of a thoughtful, structured process. Instead of feeling like a helpless pawn, PSACC student-athletes will learn to create and evaluate college options in the context of their long-term personal, academic, and athletic goals. You will regain control, feel confident in your interactions with coaches, and make the decision that is best for you.
Who we work with
PSACC advises high school students of all ages, in all sports, throughout the college selection and recruiting process. The sooner you learn what it takes to make yourself a strong prospect, the more time you have to reach your performance goals and be seen by coaches. We recommend students start the development program as sophomores or freshmen and then get more involved in the recruiting process as juniors. Seniors who are late to the process should also make an effort to reach out and explore their options. It’s never too late, and you might be surprised by what you learn.
